A unique session for Home Educating Families at our bespoke art studio for children! Give your child the space to explore, experiment, and express themselves in our weekly two-hour drop-off Home Ed Art Club. Designed specifically for home-educated children aged 7 to 11, our Wednesday afternoon club blends art theory with hands-on, process-led creation in a relaxed and supportive environment. Every session is a deep dive into the world of visual arts, where process matters just as much as the final result. Children do not just follow steps; they learn to think like artists. EVERY SESSION INCLUDES... - Artist Focus & Art Theory: We explore the life, style, and cultural context of a different artist each week, from classical masters to contemporary creators. - Technique & Skill Building: Learners experiment with varied mediums, including painting, sculpture, printmaking, and mixed media. - Sketchbook Exploration: A dedicated space for children to brainstorm, draft ideas, test materials, and document their individual creative journeys (BLOCK BOOKING ONLY) - A Take-Home Piece: Every child completes a unique project to take home and display. SESSION DETAILS When: Wednesday afternoons (1-3PM) Age Group: 7–11 years Flexibility for Parents: Feel free to drop off and enjoy two hours to yourself, or stay on-site and relax in our dedicated communal space. Qualified Leadership: Sessions are designed and facilitated by a fully qualified teacher with paediatric first-aid training and Enhanced DBS. Process Art Philosophy: We prioritise self-expression, curiosity, and joyful discovery over rigid conformity. Every child works at their own pace and leaves with something distinctly their own. £20 per session when booked as a block, £25 as a single session WHAT TO BRING We recommend wearing old clothes and/or bringing an apron, as well as a water bottle and nut-free snack. WHERE WE ARE Home Ed Art Club takes place in our beautiful and bright Artsters studio for children in the Linwood Centre, Linwood Lane, LE2 6QJ. There is ample parking in the car park or on the street, and a small communal area downstairs should you wish to wait on site. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!

By completing your booking, you agree to the following key terms: - Payments & Refunds: All bookings are non-refundable. If Artsters needs to cancel a session, a full refund for that specific class will be issued. - Session Swapping (Artsters Play Term Classes Only): If you cannot make your regular term class, you may swap to an available slot within the same week by notifying us by 7pm the night before. Alternatively, you can pass your spot for that week to a friend by letting us know their name, contact details and relevant medical information by 7pm prior to the class start time. - Sibling Discount: Discounted sibling tickets are strictly for brothers and sisters (where offered). - Supervision & Safety: For parent-led sessions, parents and carers remain fully responsible for their child(ren) at all times, as our activities may involve small parts. For drop-off sessions, children must be dropped off and collected promptly by an authorised adult. - Mess & Liability: Please wear old clothes! Artsters is not responsible for damage to clothing or personal items. While we take every care with our resources, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Participation is at your own risk.
