WHERE IS ARTSTERS?
We have our very own Artsters Studio at the Linwood Centre, Linwood Lane, LE2 6QJ in the south of Leicester city centre, with ample parking just outside. There is an accessible lift or stairs to take you up to the first floor; head through the double doors and we're just in UNIT L on the left. We ask that buggies are left in cars where possible to maximise our play space.

WHAT AGE IS ARTSTERS FOR?
Artsters Play: Designed for children under 5. We recommend joining from 9 months+, provided they can sit comfortably unaided and are well-established in their weaning journey.
Artsters Create: Independent, drop-off workshops for children aged 5–11 to explore techniques that require more fine motor development but with a process art focus.
IS MY CHILD READY FOR AN ARTSTERS PLAY SESSION?
We encourage you to be guided by your child’s development. Because we use sensory materials that include small parts, we welcome "mouthing" artists under close parental supervision. You know your child best—if they are ready to explore different textures and materials, we are ready for them!
DO I NEED TO STAY WITH MY CHILD?
Artsters Play is a collaborative experience for you to enjoy together; we require adult supervision for the duration of the session.
Artsters Create sessions are child-centered drop-offs, led by our experienced, DBS-checked team.
WHAT IF MY CHILD DOESN'T WANT TO JOIN IN STRAIGHT AWAY?
Our sessions are entirely child-led. Whether they want to spend the whole hour at the easel or just watch from the sidelines, they are welcome to explore at their own pace. There is never any pressure to produce a specific result, we're all about the process!
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
Art is messy, so old clothes for both children and grown-ups are essential. We use high-quality, non-toxic and washable paints, but "play clothes" are always the safest bet as some marks can be trickier to remove. We provide warm soapy water at the end of most of our sessions, but we recommend bringing an old towel for the journey home.
CAN I BOOK A TRIAL SESSION?
We prioritise termly booking for our Artsters Play sessions to help children build confidence and friendships. If a term isn’t full, we release remaining spots as 'drop-in' bookings on a first-come, first-served basis via our booking page.
WHAT IF I MISS A SESSION OR NEED A REFUND?
As we prepare bespoke materials and resources for every attendee in advance, we are unable to offer refunds or transfers for missed sessions. However, you are more than welcome to gift your spot to a friend if you can't make it—just send us a quick message to let us know who will be joining us in your place!

Artsters is committed to the safety of all persons who attend our sessions and to deliver the highest standard of service.

Participating in an Artsters session is entirely at your own risk without any proven negligence, breach of duty of care or lack of due diligence by Artsters leaders. In the unlikely event of illness or accident it is the responsibility of the parent to administer or seek any necessary medical assistance.

Parents and carers are responsible for ensuring their child's behaviour does not affect the wellbeing or safety of other children.

Please do not take photos or videos which include other children without prior permission from the child’s parent or carer.

Places are non-transferable and non-refundable. Discounted sibling places cover siblings only, no other family members or friends. In the event that we need to cancel a session, the cost for that session will be refunded or rolled over to next term at your choice.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any point and will notify you in accordance with the changes

For outdoor sessions we do not offer transfers or refunds in the event of adverse weather, unless the conditions prove hazardous in which case you will be offered a transfer or refund. Please be aware that our outdoor sessions take place in public park spaces so dogs may enter our designated area.
